Artist Biography: Clay Lindol Jones is a street photographer and the founder and director of sevenminusseven. He believes that anyone has the potential to create art, and that almost anything can become art. His vision has created a unique island resource in the alternative art alliance, an independent art cooperative founded in february 2008.

The alliance is a non-profit organization, a working studio and gallery space which is operated by member artists. Clay’s hope is that it will enrich the community through art education and events, with a special focus on encouraging youth to explore the arts.

When not serving the community through alternative art, clay can be found taking care of trees as an arborist for heritage tree care.
